Who We're Helping
BandSwap YEG aims to invest in our city's community and culture by bringing local artists together in a melting pot of music and fun to help Edmontonians in need. We are proud to support Boyle Street Community Service's goal of ending chronic homelessness in Edmonton by donating 100% of our proceeds to their cause.

How BandSwap Works
Meet
Local musicians meet up on Friday evening and are sorted at random into bands.
Learn
Our newly formed bands now have 24 hours to learn a set of randomly chosen cover songs.
Perform
Each band performs their set for a spectacular night of fun, laughs, and music!

Meet the Team
Our current co-directors, MJ and Max, have participated in BandSwap events as musicians since they began in 2015. They officially joined the BandSwap team for the 2019 event.
MJ and Max would later take the reigns and resurrect BandSwap in 2022 after a two-year hiatus of the event due to the pandemic.
